Namely, Kiengir is another Earth - one where the Sumerians were taught to use advanced computers and technology, using it circa the 26th Century BC to fight against alien invaders from the Breach, and eventually won the war. This puts things into a new perspective to me. The big surprise to me was that Melem-Ana was a real person. What do you guys think so far? Anything to add to what I've pointed out or figured out?ĮDITED TO ADD: I tried to write a couple of theories on the game but unfortunately, it doesn't seem like the post appears on the sub, so I'm linking here directly: hopefully this interests people.ĮDITED AGAIN to correct an error I originally intended to say the game was set in 2056, but it's actually 2066, 61 years after 2005.ĮDITED ONCE MORE: So I made this thread to figure out as many names as I could, and one of those I ran into was Melem-Ana, the king of the Sagiga. By the same note, the Udug were not creatures of flesh and blood, given they're able to travel through the Breach. Interestingly, one of the Kiengir-ians' bases was placed in 'Ziudsudra', which obviously was not named for no reason. It's also very likely that she's the Eternal Arm listed in that specific note, given her multiple transformation abilities. Based on what the lore notes say, it's very likely that Elizabeth Hammond is the same person in both games - because if Trace could get regenerated, nothing says Hammond couldn't have used the device to extend her own life either.įrom the lore notes: Aradlugal's Suspension Bridge note has him comment that Lamassu wants them to get 'godly' materials from the factory in Anunna Gorge, where you find actual Sudran drones, and Indra has to go there to make contact with Hammond and Samara in the Filter as well - thus, this is definitely a connective point between worlds.Īmashilama started out as a normal human named Elutil, much like how Indra started out as a human before being turned into a Rusalka - however, her frustrations with the Lamassu as a deity led to her becoming one to end the war against the Udug, and then she and Mageshgetil tried to lead the people up in an uprising against Lamassu, the greater CPU entity that controlled Kiengir. Years later, they manage to make it to Sudra through Trace's axiom.Īxiom Verge 2's lore sets the date as post-2066, meaning that it's set 61 years after that incident at earliest. Please add to what I'm going to list here, since even if it's only been a couple days, it's enough time for people to have figured out stuff properly.Īxiom Verge happens at some distant point after 2005, when Trace has his accident and becomes a broken shell of a man that'll eventually become Athetos.
